About Astrology

“Who am I?” is a question lots of people ask themselves from time to time.
And they ask “will I ever find true love?” and “when will I get out of this period of sadness or fear or heavy problems?” Or “How can I find more fulfilment in life?”
So you could say that the main reason astrology exsists is you! It’s all about you. Astrology has been described as a stairway leading into your deeper self. It holds the promise that you do not have to pass through life reacting blindly to experiences, that you can – within limits – direct your own destiny and in the process reach a truer self-understanding.

Down through the centuries philosophers, mystics, and spiritual teachers have studied, written about, refined and pondered astrology’s significance. It’s the world’s oldest science and our own generation’s newest subject of inquiry. About 35% of the Western world adults believe their lives are influenced by the position of the heavenly bodies.

The daily forecasts in the newspapers and on the internet are Sun sign horoscopes only. Your Sun Sign may be a dominant feature in your chart, but it’s certainly not the only one. The Sun is just one of at least 40 parts of your astrological birth chart. Astrology is based on the relationships between the 10 planets, including the Sun and the Moon*, 12 zodiac signs and 12 areas of a person’s life, called houses.

The zodiac is the name of the elliptic pattern Earth follows in its annual revolution around the Sun.
Signs (Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces) are the “how” of astrology. All zodiac signs appear in every person’s chart!
The planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) are the “what” of astrology.
The houses (from1 to 12) are the “where” of astrology.

Astrology – and our books and PDF’s - will not change the ups and downs in your life drama, but it can give you insight on how to deal with your drama.

* (In a birth chart – which is a chart of the heavens at the time of your birth  - the Sun and Moon are counted as planets, the Earth – because it’s our home planet – is not.)
